Our Program Directors
 Dale
MacGowan
Foster Care Director
Dale
has been with Advent Group Ministries for more
than 30 years. Growing up in Los Altos, California,
he attended Stanford University, where he earned
his BA in Psychology, and Santa Clara University,
where he received his Masters degree in Marriage,
Family and Child Counseling.
Dale has been serving people
in need since his college days when he worked
as a Firefighter/Rescuer for the Stanford Fire
Department, and while completing his internships
at James Boys Ranch in Morgan Hill and in Santa
Clara County Juvenile Hall's Probation Department.
Dale gained experience as a Resident Counselor
at the Ahwahnee School for Boys and then by joining
Advent Group Ministries as a Resident Counselor.
Since joining the Advent team, Dale has been Program
Director and Director of the Foster Care Program.
In his free time, Dale enjoys
playing basketball and gardening.
