Our Counseling Program, staffed by licensed and trained professionals, focuses on unifying and strengthening troubled families. We see over 500 clients a year who would otherwise not get help because of financial hardship. Many of our clients have children in our other programs and need help to resolve their conflicts. Others are referred by pastors, private counselors, and friends. We ask them to pay on a sliding scale based on income.

Our therapists are men and women of faith with compassionate hearts and the skills and training to assist our clients through life challenges. All of our counselors are either fully licensed by the State of California or are in training, and are supervised by highly skilled, fully licensed therapists. Advent counseling services provides counseling to anyone, regardless of age, race, ethnic background, sexual orientation, disablilty or religion. Our mission is to serve the community by providing quality counseling services to anyone seeking help with emotional or relational difficulties at a reasonable cost.
